Training on Meetei Mayek for TET begins

In connection with the upcoming Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Meetei Mayek to be conducted by the State Government, a 10-day long training course on Meetei Mayek has kick-started from today under the aegis of MEELAL at Jina Hall in North AOC here.
Speaking on the occasion as Chief Guest, MLA N Biren said that MEELAL has been working for the promotion and protection of Meetei Mayek and we all need to support MEELAL in its noble cause.
The MLA pointed out that education plays an important role in building up a well disciplined society.
So in order to develop the future generation of the society, we need to develop the education system.
MLA Biren maintained that the recent election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly is not an election in the real sense of the term but selection and it was not done in a fair manner.
Presided over by Sadokpam Tomna Mangang, the function was also attended by N Tomba, advisor of MEELAL as Guest of Honour.
Gopimohan Maibam, ZEO Zone I, Imphal West; advocate E Pradeepkumar and Ng Yumjao, advisor, MEELAL were also among the members present on the dais of the function.
