Imphal, June 03 2022: The Co-ordinating Body, Khurai has urged all concerned to stop publicizing fabricated narratives regarding the history of Manipur which can mislead the people.

In a press release, the Co-ordinating Body, Khurai said that some section of people claiming ownership of the land sacred to the indigenous people and putting a restriction on entering certain areas is very unfortunate.

Claiming that Dr Mark Thangmang Haokip and his associate seem to have no knowledge of their history and the same is rather embarrassing, it alleged that people from Myanmar are constantly entering Manipur illegally.

The Khurai body further claimed that Dr Mark Haokip and his associates have been spreading falsehood in the disguise of being a human rights activist.
