    Food processing and preservation training concluded

    Imphal, July 29 2010: The six-week entrepreneurship skill development programme on "Food Processing and Preservation" concluded today at the hall of Sangaiprou Young Development Committee (SYDC), Sangaiprou in Imphal West.

    The concluding function of the programme organised by the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India was graced by S Kunjakeshore, MLA as chief guest and presided over by Th Baite, Deputy Director, MSME, Imphal while M Parishana, Zilla Parishad, Changangei and L Gulapi, president of SYDC attended as guests of honour.

    An exhibition of various kinds of edibles made by the trainees during the training session marked the occasion.

    Most trainees of the programme were members of Sangaiprou Women's Self-Help Group.
