Garib Kalyan Sammelan : PM lauded for introducing beneficial schemes

Ccp/Thb/Jrb/Spi/Knp/Chd/Bsh/Kmj/Tng/Kch/Nny/Phz, May 31 2022: Various districts across the State participated in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's interaction programme with scheme beneficiaries of 16 schemes/programmes titled "Garib Kalyan Sammelan" held through video conferencing from Shimla today.

All district level events held today were linked with the national event at 11 am.

The day's programme was marked by scheme beneficiaries sharing their experiences and screening of films showcasing the various schemes set up by the Government for the public.

The Prime Minister's interactions with beneficiaries and his address from Shimla were watched live across the districts.

Notably, the programme was organised to highlight people-centric approach of various schemes leading to ease of living of citizens and also enlighten the Government on the aspirations of the people and ensure that no one is left behind in the nation's march to progress.

KANGPOKPI
Textiles, Commerce & Industry and Cooperation Minister Nemcha Kipgen hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his vision of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas' as it ensures holistic development of all parts of the country with emphasis on inclusive growth at the "Garib Kalyan Sammelan" interaction programme.

It was organised by District Administration Kangpokpi at Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Hall in Kangpokpi Headquarters today.

Caretaker Chairman ADC SH Kangpokpi, Haokholal Hangsing, DC, Kangpokpi, Kengoo Zuringla, SP, Kangpokpi, Amrita Sinha, District Level Officers, Officials and scheme beneficiaries were part of the interaction program.

CHURACHANDPUR
The District level event held at YPA Hall, Hiangtam Lamka today in Churachandpur district was presided over by Letpao Haokip, Minister (TA & Hills, Horti & Soil Conservation) and attended by dignitaries including LM Khaute, MLA 58-Churachandpur AC; Chinlunthang, MLA 60-Singhat AC, Pawan Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Shivanand Surve, SP, DLOs of the district and beneficiaries of 16 schemes/programmes.

THOUBAL
As observed across the country, the District Administration, Thoubal also organised the Garib Kalyan Sammelan and interaction program at Counting Hall of Deputy Commissioner Thoubal.

Y Khemchand Singh, Minister MAHUD, RD & PR was the chief guest of the function while Th Radheshyam, MLA Heirok AC and Adhyaksha Thoubal Zilla Parishad Hasina Begum were the other dignitaries.

SENAPATI
The District Administration of Senapati and various beneficiaries of Government schemes also participated the interaction programme at Multi- Purpose Hall at Mini Secretariat, Senapati.

Speaking at today's programme, L Susindro Meitei, Minister PHED, CAF & PD in his chief guest speech applauded the Prime Minister of India for introducing various government schemes and reaching out to different sections of people.

CHANDEL
At Chandel the programme was held at Multi purpose Hall, Mini Secretariat, DC Office Complex and attended by Minister for Social Welfare, Skill, Labour, Employment & Entrepreneurship and Fisheries Department Heikham Dingo Singh .

Speaking at the opening session of the function, the Minister expressed his happiness in seeing the improved road and other infrastructure of the district.

He also urged the public to have faith in the present government and added that he is ready to extend any help if there is any issue in the Social Welfare and the Fisheries Department.

BISHNUPUR
At Bishnupur, the programme was held at Kiyamba Shanglen.

Speaking on the occasion, Govindas Konthoujam, Minister of Public Works Department and Youth Affairs & Sports said that the interaction is being held to understand how these schemes have brought about ease of living for the citizens.

He added that it will also help in exploring the possibilities of convergence and saturation.

KAMJONG
The Garib Kalyan Sammelan was also observed today at Kamjong district with the attendance of Transport Minister Khasim Vashum as the chief guest.

The observation was held at the Town Hall, Kamjong headquarter and its was organised by the District Administration.

The programme was also attended by Phungyar MLA Leishiyo Keishing, Kamjong DC Rang Peter, DP Ravi Chaudhury and all the district level officers (DLOs) of the district.

TENGNOUPAL
Health & family Welfare and IPR minister Dr Sapam Ranjan Singh led in joining the nation-wide live interaction programme at Tengnoupal Community Hall.

The virtual interaction programme with the Prime Minister of India is conducted with the objective to let the public become aware on it, Dr Sapam Ranjan Singh stated.

KAKCHING
In Kakching district, the programme was held at at Kakching Wairi Kongoi Community Hall.

The event was attended by Paonam Brojen Singh, MLA Wangjing Tentha AC, Dr Usham Deben Singh, MLA Wabagai AC, Yumnam Radheshyam Singh, MLA Hiyanglam A/C and Phuritsabam Jiten Singh, Adhyakshya Kakching Zila Parishad.

NONEY
The Noney Dist Administration also held the programme at Multipurpose Hall, Longmai-3, Noney Dist HQ .

Dinganglung Gangmei, MLA 54-Nungba A/C, Chairman Hill Area Committee grace the function as chief guest.

The chief guest spoke PM Modi and CM N Biren Singh for launching the various beneficial schemes.

National film awardee Kachangthai Gonmei, filmmaker and actor also attended the occasion as guest artist & presented the folksong on the occasion.

JIRIBAM
At Jiribam, the National Sammelan was attended by Kh Ibomcha Singh, MLA Lamlai AC, S Santi Devi, caretaker, Jiribam Municipal Council, A Sadananda, Addl SP (Ops) and Jamesin Hangsing, ADC as the chief guest and guests of honour respectively.

PHERZAWL
At Pherzawl, the programme was held at DTC Hall, Tuibong and graced by Vungzagin Valte, MLA 56-Thanlon as the chief guest.

Many DLOs, village chiefs, CSOs and scheme beneficiaries were also present at the event.
