Imphal, April 28:
National awardee Salam Anil Kumar Singh has been conferred with the prestigious Rastriya Samman Puruskar by the Delhi-based Indian Society for Industry and Intellectual Development.
It is the third National level award that has been conferred to Anil Kumar in honour of his dedication to the service as a schoolteacher.
Anil Kumar, who is presently working as a teacher in Manipur Public School, Koirengei, received National Teacher Award (CBSE Category) in 1999 and the Lifetime Education Achievement Award earlier this year.
Anil Kumar is the son of late Salam Nabakumar Singh of Sagolband Salam Leikai and presently residing at Mantripukhi.
